My family went on a vacation to Washington over the summer. Then out of the blue, my mom got a job offer and an interview in Everett, Washington. My mom went to the interview …show more content…
Margaret agreed quickly, now excited about the move, but I was still hazy on the commitment involved. Eventually, my family and I decided to depart for Washington by the time it was late August.
“So what do you guys think about moving to Washington?” my mom inquired.
“That will be okay...I guess,” I responded faintly. What if I don’t make any friends? What if they think i’m weird?
