I believe i was in Starkville Mississippi when i came across a park. Huntsin park was rather large and had tall trees and soft grass. The sun was at its highest and i had been traveling for days two days straight. I was exhausted and rather bitter. i sat under one of the trees and stopped to give my dog water when i noticed a large class of fourth graders. They were running from side to side of the park bursting with energy. After awhile a girl named violet walked up to me she was tiny with long blonde pigtails and her innocent smile made me miss being so young. She bubbled with happiness and asked to pet my puppy. She sat in the grass next to me and started going on about her many adventures on her school field trip she was on. She lit up telling me every story and soon more of the kids came along. They all shared their experiences and carried on about what they learned and how exciting it all was. Soon enough i had the full class, parents, and even the teachers all around. Then violet sat very tall and with big eyes asked me what i had learned that day. She struck inside me that in all my adventures i never really took into consideration what i learn everyday from everyone i meet. as short and momentary as our meeting was nineteen fourth graders showed me the enthusiasm for learning and growing i had lost. A day doesn't go by now where i don't ask myself what it is i have
