Personal Narrative: My Interview With Mr. Watson

Like most people, throughout my life, I have always wondered what people think of me. People’s facial expressions, actions towards me, and more, may allow me to gain someone’s perspective of myself, but directly interviewing people gave me a much clearer sense of what people think of me. Through studying the various understandings of the Church, it is interesting to realize the different perspectives people have on me by interviewing a teacher, two friends, and my brother. Interviewing a teacher may appear to be very nerve wracking, but when interviewing Mr. Robertson, my summer chemistry teacher, I was very comfortable. I met Mr. Robertson this past summer, and I enjoyed chemistry so much more than I anticipated. Mr. Robertson describes me as quiet, respectful, smart, and hardworking. Mr. Robertson believes that being a kind person is important to me, which I find interesting because I spent such a short amount of time in his class. Mr. Robertson said my strengths are that I understand quickly, work well with others, and I am kind and respectful. Myron is my best guy friend who I have known since first grade, and we still talk on a regular basis. Myron describes me as, loyal, hard working, funny, and a good advisor, and believes my strengths are school, especially English, and shopping. Myron thinks that my talents are golf, writing, presenting, and style. As an example of my strengths, Myron thought of the speech we wrote together for Model UN. According to Myron, I stayed on top of things and kept our paper in order, which shows my organizational skills. Myron thinks my family, friends, and grades are most important to me.
