C1. In this case, though no particular motives are given for the anonymous students to be bullying Larry, there are a few possible reasons why they could be doing so. The students perhaps have a grudge against Larry or dislike him and want to insult him for whatever reason by leaving his email and posting false statements and even cartoons about him (though I think insulting someone with the name of a group of people who have a different sexual orientation isn't very clever). Now as for forwarding the email with the link to the site to other friends, perhaps I wanted to hear their opinions on the site and (hopefully not, as it would make me a terrible person) try to get my friends in trouble (on second thought, no real friend would do that!). …show more content…
Though the motivation for the cyberbullying may have not been meant to cause any harm, me and my friend still should have considered the consequences and outcomes of creating the fake Facebook page. Since her moves were entertaining, it was most likely to make others laugh with good intention, the way a friend would playfully tease to have a good laugh without hard feelings.

Jill, who was completely unaware that she was being watched, was simply practicing her dance moves to improve them and did not intend for other people to see her slip ups in the process, as any other person would. She is probably humiliated that her own peers up a Facebook page for the whole school to see her in action, meanwhile her two friends are laughing and thinking about how hilarious it is, not expecting it to go viral. The student body is probably having a fun time spectating a video that was supposed to be a small joke transform into a widely known meme that everyone is capable of seeing, leaving leeway for new bullies to come in and start doing their thing. Jill is the one put in the spotlight, so she not only has harassing messages to take care of, but she also has her reputation in the future to account for, seeing that she is the joke of the school. One thing is for sure, when the false Facebook page is finally traced back to me and my friend, it is going to look grim for
