Diagon Alley Descriptive Essay

Rowling envisioned, my senses were awakened and alive that day, and made new memories. Walking into the entrance was enchanting. I could sense the beat of my heart and the trembling of my fingers as I caught a glimpse of the brick wall ahead and the sound of them cracking apart one by one. The self-knitting that Mrs. Weasley demonstrated in “The Chamber of Secrets” was being displayed, but the stitches were slipping off the needles! When you walk by the stage in Diagon Alley, you might hear fantasizing stories from one of the wisest books in the wizarding world, like The Tales of Beedle The Bard. Some might be the unbelievable puppetry or extravagant singing with toads. If you're thirsty and eager, my family tried a classic and refreshing drink- butterbeer! Stop into The Fountain of Fortune, The Leaky Cauldron, or The Hopping Pot. You can choose from chilling frozen butterbeer, warm and calming butterbeer, or just plain butterbeer! Butterbeer has a taste of excitement that will lighten your day and make you fully

Over the years and years spent on studying mythology, Joseph Campbell came up with the concept of The Hero’s Journey. The Hero’s Journey states that all hero’s travel in a similar path and go through many similar stages that’ll lead them to their reward. However, not every hero’s journey has to involve obstacles as in slaying a dragon or trying to save the world. In my case, I had to do nothing but trying to make it through sixth grade year. Sadly, sixth grade was the year that I faced the most challenges, real world challenges at least.…

My six word memoir was “Fought through the labyrinth of solitude” because I wasn’t really alone physically because I had my family but none of them understood me or I couldn’t show them I true self, like who I really am. It wasn’t really easy to do because I felt insecure even though I shouldn’t feel that way. I stayed true to myself and I kept that in mind and it gave me the strength to push through. So mentally I was me but outside I was a totally different person that everybody expected me to be but even though I had some faith that that would end someday.…

Long, wide roads, small houses, and steel fences were my view as I walked into an unfamiliar building called Thomas Jefferson Middle School. I did not know anything about the culture or the language; a huge chill came over me, which I have never felt before. I felt goose bumps as I first walked in the building. The building was old and was not well cared for. The colors of the walls were fading and the elevators made the sound of a dying animal when it moved.…

After binge watching the Harry Potter movie series, I've decided to live a life, or even a couple lives if there is a need to complete my full exploration of the world. It's really been likeable so far, and I could experience the whole world while reading the books too! But I do truly wonder whether or not I should live multiple lives there. Another thing is, I wonder whether or not I should become Harry Potter or become a side character and become part of the lore as a wizard more powerful than Merlin himself, or even Albus Dumbledore but from research and things alike, I think Albus was more powerful than Merlin. But I could totally be wrong.…
