Got Scholarship Changed my Life At this moment, a lot of people around the world dream of something or things that they want to achieve. Some of them work very hard and insistence to reach their targets and achieve their ambitions. The others do not work for that because they are lazy or they believe that the chances of success will come to them without having to seek them. Actually, this is more like the impossible. The wisdom says, “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.” In other words, the achievement of success requires persistence, determination and confrontation all obstacles and not to succumb to them. I began to look for a job at the government hospitals but there was a sufficiency and I must wait for a long time, unfortunately. Working at the government hospitals is better than Working in the private hospitals for several reasons, for instance the work hours, salary, vacations and promotions. Therefore, I prefer to work in the government hospitals for those reasons. The waiting was too long and I felt despair. In 2011, I got married, my husband and I decided to travel to the United States to get scholarship by registration in the scholarship program and study for a while by our own money to complete the program qualifications. This decision was like a lifeline which made me feel hopeful. I was very excited to study and live there, but l also was afraid of feeling homesick and staying away from my family. Seven months later after our marriage, we traveled to the United States, in particular Grand Rapids, Michigan where I studied at English Language Center of Grand Valley State University. The first months were very difficult for me. I faced some differences, such as the culture and weather. In addition, I missed my family so much, so I felt lonely despite the presence of my husband. My husband always encouraged me and raised my spirits. Wherefore, I studied extremely hard to get the scholarship which I dreamed of. Although, the study costs were very expensive but the
