My background is not as inspiring or tear-jerking as others, but it molded me into the young lady I am and the woman I plan to be. As you probably already know I was born on November 28, 1999. I was named after my aunt, who now resides in Atlanta, because God told her that I would be pleasant and prosperous. I had a brother named James who had cerebral palsy and was paralyzed from the waist down. I was homeschooled until I reached sixth grade so as you can imagine James was my only best friend even though he was ten years older and was unable to talk. My father was in and out of my life and I grew up wondering why and blaming my mom. My mom raised me with a not only strict but God-influenced hand and she taught me right and wrong. Because of his condition hospitals were nothing unusual and I thought nothing of it. When we arrived, after awhile, I was informed that my best friend had passed away. I felt so empty and so alone, but I knew I had to let him go. In order to let him go I knew I had to find out who I am. Overtime, I grew more and more acquainted with this person who in my eyes only had a name. Now that I have found at least most of myself I can properly introduce you to me. I am Naomi Briana Davis and I am courageous. I am dedicated to my goals and I am motivated to be the best. I have many talents, I am a singer, a dancer, and I've been playing piano for almost four years now. I was born to be different and I was born to be a light in a world of darkness. I am outgoing and I am fun to be around. I have goals that I am meant to accomplish, I will aspire to be a obstetrician/gynecologist and I will be the best doctor and I will give the best care to my patients. I am proud to say that this is me, but I am also willing to say that I'm still a working
