I study everyday during my study hall hours, as well as after school doing my homework, to turn assignments in earlier than the deadline. My whole family has inspired me to pursue my college education because they are constantly telling me stories about their teenage years. They have said that they wanted to go places and make differences but they ended up creating a family early in their lives instead. I have selected to do a double major in both chemistry and criminology because during my junior year my instructor, Mr. Hank Starr, in my Honors Chemistry class inspired my love for chemistry. He is very energetic and enthusiastic about teaching, he has so much love for science, so much that he passed it down to me as well. I will get some help from my family, but unfortunatley they don’t make that much money, so I really can’t ask them for suport. I plan on not taking student loans or private loans because I hear how mych debt other graduates have along with the time it takes for them to pay off school loans. Work study is something I plan on doing while I am in college. I also plan to work during the summer and save some money that will be used for my books and supplies.
