Through my minor in Science and Math Education, I have had the opportunity of engaging in professional and content development, catering to a variety of age groups. I learned the value of understanding a target audience and the rigor of presenting in an unpredictable environment. Through my teaching experiences from the middle school to undergraduate level, I became more adaptable educator and learned the importance of contingency plans. My background in education serves as a testament to my confidence and initiative and qualifies my skills in content development and communication.

This research experience opened my eyes to the meticulous but necessary work required prior to applying for grants or conducting human clinical trials. I quickly adapted to this new working environment, and it did not take long for me to integrate myself into the community. I was able to quickly learn and apply new protocols and software and seized every opportunity that allowed me to develop my new skills.
