My family and I were headed on a camping trip up to northern wisconsin to a little camp ground call Pattison State Park. We had been on the road for what seemed like hours and we were in the middle of nowhere. We were running low on gas as we pulled up to a road blocked sign, so my family and I pulled over for a little bit and assessed our options. Not much more than some storage units, a bar, and a convenience store. This had to be the smallest place that qualified as a town I had ever seen. It was nearing 10:00 as we pulled up to the gas pump. The store looked like it had been closed for an hour already. Only one fluorescent light bulb flickering on and off over the counter. My brothers and I were ordered to stay in the car as my dad checked to see if the pump was on and my mom went to look for anyone in the convenience store. Both came back empty handed, but the bar down the street still looked like it was open so we rolled over there with our camper to give it a try. My dad climbed out of the truck and went in side. There was barely anything excepted a sign and a little dirt road that wound back into dark woods. It was the most creepiest campground I’ve ever seen. It was completely overgrown and it looked like it hadn’t been mowed in 30 years. As we rolled down the overgrown dirt road the moon shone eerily on an old rusted jungle gym. This place look like it was straight out of a werewolf movie. We came to a fork in the road, to the left it looked pick black, but to the right there was an old trailer home with a pork light on. Turning right we rolled past it and park our camper in the first clear place we could find. The little clearing was half flooded but it would have to work. We got out and back the camper in, the mosquitoes were as big as golf balls and were really annoying. That night didn’t bring much
