Obstacles and difficulties are part of everyone’s daily life. It is up to that person to step up and overcome those obstacles. It may appear difficult at first, but you are never truly ever facing something alone. I myself had to overcome a very big and treacherous obstacle not long ago. For example, my grandpa was diagnosed with prostate cancer over 3 years ago. I had always pictured him as this unbreakable and indestructible man who could never be hurt. When he was diagnosed he refused to go in for treatment and take his medication. Over time the cancer took a toll on him; you could tell he was getting weaker and skinnier, his eyes had sunken into his skull just a bit, the twinkle of life in his eyes had disappeared. The man I saw before me was not the man I had gotten to know over the years. …show more content…

I began to get distant from him never going to visit him. Thankfully I was not facing this hardship on my own. I was so focused on myself I had forgotten my family was facing the same obstacle as me. With their help I was finally able to go and visit my grandpa. In the end even though it was a struggle facing him I am glad I was able to face it with the people I

The star of LocoCycle is I.R.I.S, a sentient motorcycle that looks like it is from the Knight Rider era of television shows. IRIS is supposed to serve as a tool for an unscrupulous defense contractor, but after being struck by lightning she decides to attend a freedom rally in Scottsburg, Indiana instead. Pablo, her unfortunate mechanic, gets his pants caught in her chassis so he is unwillingly dragged along for the ride. LocoCycle is clearly inspired by cheesy B movies so don't expect the plot to make too much sense. Trying to figure out how a human being can survive being used as a melee weapon by a motorcycle with martial arts abilities will just lead to a headache.…

I turned back to him how he was feeling, he answered quite calmly and sickly. He said internally he was feeling the worst he ever had, but in his heart and mind he felt so happy, and so grateful to live another day. This man, strong, determined, and filled with ambition reminded me of myself. We both have our struggles, his more severe than mine, but we both had the same dreams, and positive energy. We both wanted to make our lives be the best lives we could make.…

In his last day I read the sports page to him and even though he didn’t respond I filled him on the score from the Mariners game from the night before. Personally, I think watching someone die is the hardest thing to do and I had to witness that as a fifteen year old; I couldn’t even drive yet, I was still a kid. My grandfather’s death was gut wrenchingly hard not only for me but for my whole family but it changed me, and I feel it changed me for the better; I always had this plan that I would one day be working in a hospital and caring for people.…

My definition of an obstacle or challenge is something that tries to stop you from your goal or something hard to overcome. My definition of success is when you get to a point in your life where you are happy and have a sustainable job. It is very important to overcome challenges and obstacles because if you do not overcome them you won't be able to reach your goal. If you don't reach your goal because of a challenge or obstacle you can always try again because very few people get everything right the first time, but if you just let your obstacle stop you forever you’re going to end up unhappy , unless you find something else that makes you happy. My mother got pregnant at 17.…
