Odio Romeo Santos Analysis

The next song is called odio by Drake and Romeo Santos.

It is my favorite song to dance to in the club. Romeo santos sings the majority of the song as a duo with Drake. And the song is about them seeing a ex with another man and they get extremely jealous. That they are jealous that she is kissing another and they love her. But that she is happy with another man. They tell her they want to kiss her and dance with her once more. The song is in Spanish snd drake although he is a Canadian rapper and singer. In the song he raps and sings in Spanish. Which is mighty impressive. I thought that since he is an English speaker that he may have had a problem doing it in Spanish. But to my surprise he does a great job. I love this song because it makes

In 1976, the Swedish group ABBA ravished the world with their hit song “Dancing Queen.” Even after 30 years since its exposition at King Carl Gustaf’s ball, the song remains a favorite in dance clubs. Mixed with pop-operatic harmonies and inspiration to the dance rhythm in George McCrae's "Rock Your Baby," as well as the drumming on Dr. John's 1972 album “Dr. John's Gumbo”, ABBA is able to convey an elated feeling of limitless joy and highlights the greatest music of the disco era. Through a beautifully woven blend of uplifting, empowering lyrics and a sophisticated melody scattered with heart-tugging high notes, “Dancing Queen” celebrates the carefree innocence of youth.…

On October 28, 2017, I attended Desert Hot Springs High School’s theatrical performance, Love Sick, a play produced by John Cariani. Mr. Landmann is the head director of the theater department at DHSHS and was able to execute a great show with the help of his students: Matilde Alejandro, Megan Johnson, Bethany Navarro, Luis Salazar, Nathaniel Esparza, Natalia Martinez, Angel Limas, Esmeralda Hernandez, Esmeralda Salazar, Nicholas Jacob Gamboa, Baylee Bryant, Jonathan Calderon, Erika Aleman, Jesus Hernandez, Austin Aguirre, Edna Escobedo, Anjali Singh, Angel Ramirez, Elijah Cross, Michelle Lopez, Alondra Campos, Sadie Cunningham, Joseph Arisco, Maya Souza, Efrain Flores, Kimberly Solano, and Zauriah Cotton. Love/Sick is a play that contains lovers and dreamers that look into the agony and the happiness that comes with being in love and in relationships. To begin with, the plot of the play was very straightforward and unmissable. It outlined all the effects, good and bad, that comes with being in a relationship as well as depicting all the dilemmas.…

The fourth book assigned was Victor Rios’, Punished: policing the lives of Black and Latino boys. Rios’ book chronologizes black and Latino boys in Oakland as they encounter various forms of punishment at very stages in their lives. Young Latino and black men are the marginalized group in this book. What Rios criticizes and blames for the egregious policing of these young men is the youth control complex: “The youth control complex is a ubiquitous system of criminalization molded by the synchronized, systematic punishment meted out by socializing and social control institutions” (40). Rios breaks the complex down further into material and symbolic forms of criminalization.…
