APN is often considered an idea dating back more than a century which promotes consistency in practice, advances the achievement of value added patient’s outcomes and improvement in the health care delivery process based on evidence based guidelines. Nursing theory, research, service and practice are fundamental components of the NP graduate program (Hamric, Hanson, O’Grady, & Tracy, 2014). NPs in acute or primary care must possess pharmacological management, assessment, diagnostic, and clinical management skills which they acquire during the education process. The NP delivers care within the identified specialty to clients in hospitals, out patient clinics, acute care and private sectors. NP’s are often focus on direct patient care, promoting wellness and preventing illness, supervising and managing the health needs of patients and their families. The NP offers skills and expertise to specialized patient population and also takes care of patients with minor, acute or chronic conditions (Hamric, Hanson, O’Grady, & Tracy, 2014).
