Hard work is seen very clearly throughout the book Night by Elie Wiesel. One example is when they are being held in these camps and the SS soldiers make them go outside and begin to march. After a very short time the SS decide that they need to run because the frontline is getting closer. “ We were not longer marching, we were running”( Wiesel 85). All three of the books that was mentioned above all demonstrate people of all walks of life demonstrating hard work. In Night you see it throughout the entire book when the SS soldiers wanted them to do anything it required hard work because their very life depended upon their success. In To Kill a Mockingbird Atticus demonstrate hard work by putting his own safety at risk by sitting outside of the jail and refusing to allow anything to happen to Tom Robinson. In Stand and Deliver Mr. Escalante and the students displayed hard work. Mr. Escalante showed it by his willingness to help these students and put the extra effort to help them. The students worked very hard to pass their regular math but also AP Calculus
