Narrative Essay On Mexico Vacation

Last year, during winter break my family and I went to Cabo, Mexico which is located on the tip of the peninsula of the part of Mexico that is under California. It took a lot of begging over the years to get my mom to take us to Mexico but she finally gave in and she doesn’t regret it a single bit. My vacation to Cabo was and still is the best vacation I have been on.
Right as we stepped out of the airport in Cabo, the warm humid air instantly hit us and we couldn’t wait to get to the resort and lay on the warm sandy beach. On our way to the resort we drove along the curvy coast observing the beautiful blue ocean water, loving every inch of what we were seeing. Before we got to the resort we stopped at a local supermarket that sold types of food, drinks, fruits and vegetables that we had never seen or heard of before. I've been ziplining before but it was 10 times better in Cabo. We got to zip line across this fascinating canyon that had a river running through the bottom of it with diverse plants growing all over. The best zip line run was the last one because of course they save the best for last. For the last ride, everyone had to take off the normal harness that we used to sit on to go across the lines and lay down into this harness where the workers then put weight on me to make it go faster. This last zip line ride went across a wide part of the canyon which made the ride about 2 minutes long. During this ride I got to look down into the canyon and see all the wonderful healthy green nature that was growing in the canyon and going about 40 mph was completely riveting. If I were to go back to Cabo I would definitely go zip lining

In one hike you can get it all: redwood groves, wildflower-filled meadows, rocky outcroppings, cascading creeks and sweeping views. This is Sonoma County at its best, the Pomo Canyon Trail, a 4.5-mile stretch between a wooded campground and Shell Beach. Naturally, unless you bring two cars, enjoying the entire trail would cause you to rack up nine miles. If you start at the Pomo Canyon Campground, you might have to add another mile, as when I hiked it, the campground was closed, and I do not know if it is permanent or seasonal.…

Growing up in Mexico, I didn't have the best of everything. I had and still have a hard working family, but as a kid, I would always see my parents struggling to put food on our table for my siblings and myself. To this date, every time I am in contact with my relatives in Mexico they always tell me how much people struggle to provide a living for their families, especially when there is really no place to work or any resources that can help them out with such needs. My motivation to do this mission trip is by putting myself in the shoes of all those people that have to struggle every day and night to…

Then I went to Mexico and felt the warm ocean breeze roll off the waves and thought man it would be tremendous to be somewhere comparable to this all the time. The resort my family stayed at was exquisite and it had a humongous pool. There was this one time where out of nowhere it started storming forcing all the people on the beach crammed in under this canopy. The canopy was an outdoor restaurant so while all the people on the beach waited for the storm to die down, my parents bought us nachos that were super savory.…
