Narrative Essay About Middle School

When I was in middle school I never really took any photos on a digital camera so I don’t have a lot of photos where I can look at and just talk about them but in my head I can go back to when I was thirteen years old starting middle school. In my head I can go back and see everything and go back to that journey. Why thirteen? Well I picked the time around middle school because around that time is when i was thirteen, I experienced a lot within myself and I as trying to find who I was. In the photo there’s this stranger with her “friend” who is now my best friend posing and smiling, I cannot remember everything that happened that day since this was a couple years ago but I do remember we decided we wanted to take photos right after school. …show more content…
I didn’t know if they were nice or not, at that time I was just hanging out with my friends from elementary school .When I was in middle school I experienced a lot with my friends, I had a good set of friends and I got along with everybody. At that time I was getting a feel of everything meaning I was seeing how people react to situations. I got to see who was real my friends and who can I trust, but when you are thirteen you give your trust to everyone because you don’t really know what trust is until you get older. I was friends with a lot of people I didn’t worry about who I can trust and who I couldn’t because at that time I was just being a teenager having fun and wasn’t worrying about anything serious as in people talking behind my back. I also had problems in my house everyone was so unhappy and that’s probably why I am the way I am today. When I was in middle school I had a curfew I always had to go home straight after school but I didn’t want to because I was always with my friends and they were always able to hang up and I didn’t know why I couldn’t do the …show more content…
Most of the photos that I can remember I was always with my best friend and we were always at her house. When I look back through middle school photo I was always smiling I wasn’t upset that much or I didn’t stress a lot because I felt like there wasn’t much to stress about since I was so young. In middle it was fun because I always had a good time with my friends and I went to almost every school event. Now that I am in college I feel like i am more independent because throughout middle school and high school there was a lot to learn. Now I rather do a lot of things by myself and not worry about other people because I always learn to treat people the way they treat me. People will say I have more of an attitude and I am always mad and that’s because of the type of people I dealt with during middle school and high school. During middle school and high school people were so judgmental so you always had to watch what you did. Now that I’ve grown up I say to myself that I still have a lot to learn. I feel like I am smarter and I make smarter decisions then when I was in middle school. With starting college I’m now learning to

A windy Tuesday early morning in 2009, Los Angeles still slept from the celebration-filled Fourth of July weekend. But my family was abruptly woken. I was in the seventh grade. I lived with my parents and two sisters in our humble home in the Pico neighborhood of Los Angeles, a pride-filling reward for the years of hard-work and dedication of my parents, both exiles from the tumultuous Central American country of Honduras. They came chasing the American Dream and yearning to be free from poverty.…

When entering junior high, we were constantly reminded by teachers, parents, and school administrators how different it was from elementary school. It was supposed to be the start of a transition from childhood to young adulthood, and though I discounted many of these sentiments at the time, looking back it certainly was. In an instant, it seemed, everyone started swearing and the hallways began to smell of a putrid mixture of not enough or too much cologne. For the first time we had to change before gym, no one really sure whether it was more socially acceptable to change in a bathroom stall or feign confidence by doing it out in the open. Talk swirled of who got their periods, who was wearing what bra size, and which boys needed to stop cultivating…
