One of the good things about schools in Puerto Rico were the hot meals for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast hot eggs with crispy bacon and cold orange juice and for lunch hot rice with fried chicken and red beans that would make your mouth water and if u ask nicely and waited for everyone to eat you could go back to get seconds. Now the U.S school food are usually cold and soggy pizza with juices that aren’t that cold. There are not a lot of options to choose from. You only have a few options get cold pizza, a cold burger or a cold 31 and j sandwich. Those were not great options for students with free lunches. Only students that would pay would have hot lunches and even they would complaine about the food. The American language was the second problem for me. Even though I learned it in a year, I still have problems with some words today. Some people say that one of the hardest languages is Russian but to be honest I think its English. There’s so many words in the English dictionary that mean different things for example to, too, two. English have so many rules to follow, word phrases and slag words.
