By hearing and talking among like-minded we grab solving our problems at which those enjoyable experiences become the great resource from large opportunities and activities that will enable us to develop positive direction to our academic and professional future.

As a prototype for cultural and citizenship programs as a defense of the thesis, the Monash University environment will be my case of study. All the attention delivered to the next years at the University is to relating the astonishing scope in arts and culture units to develop, at the end of the 2nd year's Bachelor, with high-average, the Master in 'Cultural and Creative Industries', a project at which gather together people, memories, history, software, augmented reality, projections, and apps. An experiment that could result in a printed book as well as a digital book of playful features. A game to be exact.

Monash University is recognized as a well-established academic center, for instance by programs that I would like to be invited such as Monash Minds, to be involved in opportunities which belong to the pleasant values of the University. In addition, this keeps us at the interesting prospect of being in action together as part of the history of humanity alike living in the city which belongs to UNESCO's Creative Cities, such as

Especially now, in a time that the world needs righteous deeds to balance the craziness that keeps escalating a bit everywhere, it’s comforting to focus our attention in virtuous projects done by benevolent people who dedicate their lives to help others in need. This idea gains further emphasis when the people who are benefitting from these efforts are children. Documentarian Marvin Blunte captures with a self-assertive sense of appreciation, the wonderful assistance and guidance given to the poor and abandoned children who reside at Children’s Village School, a 35-year institution located in a remote jungle of the Kanchanaburi province, Thailand. As an alternative to the public school system and the first democratic school in the country, it gives the opportunity to 150 underprivileged children to experience several tasks, from cooking to art making to cleaning, while learning the…

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to attend North Dakota State University. My dad and sister are NDSU alumni, so furthering my education where they did provides us with a unique bond. Additionally, not many of my relatives attended college, allowing me to see the difficulties in providing for oneself and family without a college degree. Although I know the next seven years are going to be challenging, extremely strenuous, and will push me to the edge of my comfort zone, the satisfaction of administering medical services to those who need them will make it worthwhile. Not only will I be able to care for others with a Pharm.…

My zeal for undertaking the Modular Master’s Degree program at Arcadia University is to develop my skills and expand my knowledge of educating children in preparation for a career as an educator. My interest in teaching began four years ago after completing my undergraduate degree in Public Health and has since developed after my first motherhood experience. My commitment to pursuing a career as an educator was established during my maternity leave, where I had time to reflect on going back to school. I was mostly inspired by my family’s ardor for education and by the encouragement of the executive director at my job who wishes to mentor me into the leadership world of Early Childhood…

I am a first-generation Latina student at The Ohio State University. Being from inner city Toledo, Ohio, I attended a public district where 80% of students received free or reduced lunch and the graduation rate was at an all time low of 49%. My parents had not graduated high school, therefore once college applications became relevant, they unfortunately could not help me. Through 25 different scholarships, I was able to attend OSU without any loans and truly believed I was on the right track to achieving the "American Dream". To my dismay, once classes began, I was lost.…

Howard University guarantees their students a very well-rounded education, while still letting them dive into the beauty of their majors. As a Howard student, I will be able to reach my full potential intellectually and socially and strive for success in my intended field of study, Political Science. I’ve been interested in political science for a long time and what intrigued me the most was that I would be learning more about other countries and focusing on their cultures, belief systems, and stances on various international issues and crises. As well as an in-depth look at domestic politics and this country’s government, which goes perfectly with Howard’s convenient location in Washington, D.C. the home of Capitol Hill, The White House, and 177 foreign embassies.…

An opportunity that added value to my educational experience has been participating in the honors society program. This has enabled me to gain more knowledge about the field of psychology. I liked this because it forced me to push myself and put me around others that also dedicated their time to academics.…

Being a student at Queen’s University taught me that the opportunities we seek out teach us about our character and more importantly, about our passions in life; they help us to define our goals and will lead us to be successful. I have been fortunate to gain valuable experience as a Queen’s student, orphanage volunteer, and drop in center volunteer. My experiences shaped my understanding of teaching and learning processes as I learned the valuable qualities that are exhibited by successful educators that establish supportive learning environments for their students. While working in Romanian orphanages this past summer, I learned how each child presents their own challenges as they learn, and communicate differently. In a short time with a great deal of patience and dedication I learned enough of the language as I led games, bible studies, and helped children with conflict resolution.…

In the past children’s literature has been dominated by the agenda of religious institutions, the censorship of well-meaning adults and the pragmatic practice of inserting life lessons into children’s books (Glazer, 466). While these different interest groups have had a strong hold on children’s literature for many decades both Louis Lowry and Ayn Rand have not only written works, The Giver and Anthem, that address the dangers of special interest groups encroaching on the education and literacy of children, but also their works address the individualism, collectivism, martyrdom and precision of words. Addressing subjects like collectivism and individualism with children seems like an insurmountable endeavor, but Lowry and Rand show through…

The publication “The Museum as Context” by Amy Tucker analyzes the environment of the museum and how culture and context is changed depending on the environment art is presented in. The purpose of art exhibitions is to show the audience an organized presentation of particular art pieces. The question raised in this chapter is whether the organization of the presentation is precise to represent each piece of work and does this representation distort the meaning of a piece. There are many ways art exhibitions are presented and displayed, from light to temperature. Exhibits can be considered a piece of art themselves due to the specific arrangements and methods of displaying items to connect the viewers with each piece of work.…
