Introduction
There have been many revolutionary ways of connecting a person to another person throughout the world, that have been created in the last fifteen years. From the creation of FaceBook (2004), YouTube (2005), Twitter (2006), and Instagram (2010), and the list goes on and on, a number of people you can connect with are unimaginable. If a person wanted to, they could add another person on any of these social media sites, from anywhere in the world, and have a conversation with them. Just fifteen years ago, you couldn’t have done that. Social media has revolutionized networking with people around. It’s amazing what such a simple idea, from a bunch of very complex minds, came up with. These minds are beginning to transform the world

Mark has a net worth, at age 31, of just over $50.5 billion, according to Forbes.com, making him #6 billionaire in 2016. Mark and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, have a charity called the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative. Released in December 2015, according to the Forbes article, “Mark Zuckerberg and His Charitable Plan,” it states that, “Zuckerberg and Chan recently announced their decision to transfer 99% of their Facebook stock to a new charitable-based venture called the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative.” The other co-founders of FaceBook, Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Sean Parker, also, are worth over a billion dollars in their own right, according to the Forbes article “Forbes 10 Youngest Billionaires.” FaceBook has continued to grow into a global power company, and with over 1.59 billion users, the company is more used than …show more content…
Currently, you see ads consistently on your social media sites. These ads are based on of your interests, or your recent searches on the internet. Before social media, most of the ads you heard or saw were on the radio and television, respectively. These ads were brought to you based on what radio station you were on, or what television show you were watching. Otherwise, a marketer couldn’t appeal to what your specific interests were, or what you did on a daily basis.
