Malcolm X fought vigorously against his former leader Elijah Muhammad because Muhammad misused his power to fornicate with multiple women in the Islamic organization or church. He resisted Muhammad’s system and left and the Islamic church to create his own mosque later on. Malcolm spoke to his folks directly, proclaiming that they must use self-defense and must fight by any means necessary to abolish Muhammad’s oppressive system and to claim their freedom. Others saw Malcolm X’s action as an act of violence at the time; but in Malcolm’s eyes, they were defending themselves from the treatment they were receiving from the whites. He stood against the system and fought for human rights, civil rights etc. Malcom was a fearless leader and was willing to do anything to change the system up until his last days. He was an extremist, a crude rebel as others would say, because he would go far and beyond to fight for what he believed was right by any means. Often these people will use forces to resist the unbalanced activity within churches, governments, a particular group, or a system. However, some will fight peacefully to initiate improvement. We should all have some disobedience within us to prevent us from pledging allegiance to what is wrong, and if we should become rebellious, we must face it without fear and with respect.
