Have you ever heard of Machu Picchu? Well now is the time to get educated on the wondrous site located in the Andes Mountains. Laying at an impressive 2,430 meters above the Urubamba River, this site was discovered by an American explorer, Hiram Bingham, found it in 1911 after many months spent searching for this ancient Incan wonder. Machu Picchu holds great significance as a travel destination due to its marvelous architecture, rich history, and cultural significance.

Dating back thousands of years, the Inca empire has been praised for their scientific and astronaumical findings. Surprisingly, those are not the only things the Incan's did well, they also were wonderful archetects. Machu Picchu is their best work and has been heavily visited
