Ken White is supportive and highly admired in the Tempe Elementary School district by his principal peers and the entire district. He has the desire to help others and to see others succeed. He has mentored new teachers and new principals in the district. As a mentor, he listens and guides new leaders by asking the right questions. The questions clarify new leaders own thinking, so they are able to come to a clear understanding of their own leadership thinking. He is willing to share his insights and lessons learned. The Rodel Foundation can find no more obvious example of an exemplary and successful educational leader than Mr. Ken White. I urge you to visit Curry School: talk to staff, converse with the students and watch Mr. White at work. He is the premier instructional leader in Tempe Elementary District.
