Joy boy, Starlene, Mo and Vinny are all friends they all have different character traits.

Joy-boy, Starlene, Vinny, and Mo. All of these people are the main characters. Joy boy and Starlene have a relationship. Vinny and Joy boy are best friends. Mo is a friend to everyone of them. These are the main characters. Salisbury uses different traits to tell about Vinny, Joy boy, Starlene, and Mo. Mo is fearless, Joy boy is not a nice person, Starlene also has no fear and believes in the legend of the stone goddess. Vinny is afraid of the dead boy, and does not believe in the legend of the stone goddess.
