Australian comedian Jim Jefferies experienced a home invasion where he was tied up and his girlfriend was threatened with rape. He explains to his audience, that if he would have had a gun throughout the home invasion it wouldn’t have made a difference. Unlike Amy or John he directly attacks guns using vulgar and offensive remarks towards guns to emphasize his dislike, the flaws of owning a gun and the reasoning gun owners have. Jim adds to the gun conversation by indicating the flaws gun owners have about owning a gun. The reason they give for owning a gun is for protection. Important to note is that he has experienced a situation in which people believe a gun would have been helpful however he destroys this response by stating he didn’t
