We all characterize fear, disillusion, and disappointment in different ways. In the mind of a psychopath, those emotions are multiplied causing them to feel trapped and making them lash out. Dahmer's parents traveled a lot in his teenage years and ended up separating. That alone caused Dahmer to feel betrayed and feel abused. That led him to kill 17 young boys as he also experimented with his homosexuality. He states that he was fascinated with the anatomy of the human being. When a thorough search of his house was conducted they found several severed heads and organs in his refrigerator and in containers. Another example, Ted Bundy started killing simply because his girlfriend dumped him. All his victims resemble his ex. John
Wayne Gacy's troubled childhood and his alcoholic abusive dad caused him to kill 34 young males. Now just to make it clear in no way shape or form are those excuses to kill. That is just the killers perspective on their life. They feel their life has been horrible so they reenact that same pain they felt upon someone else, which in their mind this action is justified. All
