Some people have calculated the angles of how to shoot the basketball to make it every time. People have tested if jumping during free throws gives you a better shot at making the basket rather than not jumping. Some people have shot the ball when it is cold and compared it to the percentage to when it is warm outside.
What would life be like if basketball had never been invented. Well all those people who play in the N.B.A They would be out of the job. So that would leave them scrambling to find a job. Sadly not all of those people would get lucky to find a job. That would bump america's non-jobs percentage up to 17% instead of 16%. That might not be very much but think about it 323.1 million people live in the U.S.A. that means that 1,900 people would be without a job! So without basketball a lot of people would not have a job.
