I am helping out at the Jacob Hiatt Magnet School in a 4th grade class. Every week for 2 hours I am able to help students with their classroom activities. At the beginning, I use to just go around in class and help the students when they need help. Now, the teacher has me take the one or two students who are struggling and sit outside with them to help them catch up. This helps them to be able to be on the same page as everyone else and it makes it easier for the teacher as well because it gets really hard for one teacher to be able to keep everyone at the same page and finish the course material on time. Working at this school has been a great experience for me because I have always wanted to help people. It feels great when I am able to help
