JROTC is a program to motivate young people to become better citizens. It’s not about training them to prepare of joining the military. This program allows to teach discipline and to become more independent with hard work. JROTC helps cadets become leaders so can have the chance to change the world for the better. The instructors mainly teaches students to develop their strengths of being independent and become mature adults. In 1916, Congress passed the National Defense Act to spread military education worldwide (Let 1 Student Textbook CH 1 Lesson 2). Cadets are focused on to accomplishing goals such as graduating high school to become a better citizens (Let 1 Student Textbook CH 1 Lesson 2). Students also develop their leadership so they could be good role models to their society. LET 2-4 help cadets who are a LET-1 with knowing their ranks and courtesies (Let 1 Student Textbook CH 1 Lesson 3). They get to learn to look professional and act professional. We still carry the history of JROTC and how it was originally created. There will be no forgotten of the story behind the military program that progress students’ maturity and success. In the future I believe JROTC will still passed down to generation to generation. We, the future leaders will set as a good role model to influence people in a positive way. Making sure the goals stays the same and possibly motivate them to join the military. Our histories and traditions still won’t be forgotten but passed down. The future maybe a little different with technologies in JROTC yet the process and knowledge will have no change. JROTC will passed down from generation to generation with a very well success. This program have a dedication to teach students to become a better citizens. It also encourages students to join the military so they can protect the world from political attacks.
