First and foremost, school uniforms take away the individuality of students. Juveniles need individuality for their future, if they are not able to dress like themselves how will they ever know how to dress normally. Student uniforms cause many disadvantages in students live, they are only useful to wear to school, students will have to have many of them for every day of the week, and students who have had to wear them before claim they are uncomfortable. These may only seem like minor problems, but imagine being that student that not only has to wear that uniform every day, but only has that one uniform, and after wearing it every single day and only having time to wash it on the weekends, they will stink. School uniforms can be good for students, because they allow everyone to look mostly identical. When students dress the same underprivileged students will not be identified by being different because of their parents paycheck. This also makes it harder for students to violate the dress code. This can have good aftereffects, for students will not have to be sent home or their parents will not have to come to the school with appropriate clothes for them. School uniforms may have better effects on bigger schools than on smaller schools, but in the end every student has their own opinion about the
