People move to America legally all the time but are not given the same life chances as those who are whit. A Hispanic man can legally move from Mexico, and chances are, an employer would pick a man of the same skillset of whom is white instead. People of who have had generations of relatives before them living in America have a tendency to be treated as if they are illegal immigrants or as if they do not actually belong in America. They are often times told that they surprisingly speak good English, asked where they are from, how long they have been here, or spoken to in Spanish even if they do not know any themselves. This is not equal. If it was equal, people would not stare at a colored woman walking down the street, or avoid talking to a person who is different color thinking they may not even speak English. People also expect those of color to be less educated, and her fore treated differently in the school setting as well. They are seen as a minority instead of being part of a whole. When applying for college or other schooling, people are asked what their race is. Schools are trying to add diversity to their schools and promote that colored people or those of different races attend school, which is a very good idea, but it also separates them from the rest of society even
