While i was laying in a dental chair my dental hygienist kept asking me questions, obviously i couldn’t reply due to a drill that kept me from speaking. Anyone can be a dental hygienist, and by examining these topics there will be a clearer image of what it’s like to be a dental hygienist.
There are some obstacles that this career requires. The education level dental hygienist inquires are, a minimum requirement for admission to a dental hygiene school is graduation from high school. One most graduate from an accredited dental hygiene school. “The graduation policy that a student must achieve is receiving a minimum grade or a “C” and maintain a 2.5 overall GPA” (Howard College). It will be prior to obtain one or two years of college before entering the program. “A dental hygienist practitioner must be licensed by the state in which they will practice” (Dental Hygienist Ferguson’s). The duty of a dental hygienist is to teach patients how to practice good oral health and keep their teeth and gums in the best health possible. “Employment of a dental hygienist is expected to to increase by “26.67%” (Dental Hygienist Texas). Due to the many dental industries, it will not be difficult to get a job once out of the dental program. “The Texas employment of Hygienist is up to 12,600” (Dental Hygienist Texas). Since there is a 26.67 percent growth outlook and the Texas employment rate is 12,600 it seems like a good career plan to follow. Working with different patients will be difficult to comprehend, but it'll be worth the trouble due to the salary the job
