According to the American cancer society you feel more tired than usual during your everyday life due to the lack of sleep from all the cancer fatigue. Some people describe it as feeling weak, drained, and washed out. The fatigue can change from day to day in how much it bothers you and how severe it is. While the patient has cancer their physical appearance may change due to loss in appetite. The patient can even gain weight it just all depends on the patient’s treatment and how the cancer is effecting them. Cancer is also known to cause swelling of the face, arms, legs and it can also cause rashes and burns. In some patients it can even cause changes in sexual function, such as early menopause in women, loss of sexual interest, or erectile difficulties in men.
