This include the positive attributes of the candidate, any major voting blocs committed to the candidate, and financial resources (Pg. 39)”. Secretary Hillary Clinton is the democratic presidential candidate of 2016. She has demonstrated that she is experience, resilient, and capable to be the president of the United States of America. Her experiences as a former “New York Senator from Jan 2000 to Jan 2009. During which she sponsored 31 pieces of legislation, including 21 bills, and 9 amendments, 33 senate resolutions, and 21 concurrent resolutions. 14 of her senate resolutions were passed expressly. One of which is supporting national Purple Heart recognition day passed by both houses. Of the 33 bills, 3 became laws. She served on 5 senate committees with nine subcommittees. She was also a commissioner of the commission on security and cooperation in Europe from 2001 to 2009. According to Madeleine Albright, one of Hillary Clinton’s greatest achievement was restoring the reputation of America around the world. Due to her public service career history and being the wife of a former president of Unites States of America, she is able to attract the super political action committee (super PACs) to fund her campaign other the party’s contribution. Moreover, Hillary Clinton has been able to attract the minorities electorate that Donald Trump alienated in his speeches and propose plans if he is elected the president. The supporter demographics are Hispanic, women, young voters, Black-Americans and Muslim. The media represented the two parties’ nominee without biased but where able to communicate the public opinion through polling for the two candidates. However, Hillary Clinton’s weakness is that she has trust issue with majority of the less-educated white voter, because they are the majority registered voters. The text book on political campaign communication inside out defines, “weakness is the other flip side of the coin and include negative aspects of the candidate’s record, the inability to attract eminent supporters and the inability to raised fund (pg. 39)”. Although, she is projecting herself as being resilient irrespective of all the backlash on the Benghazi issue, her vote for the Iraq war and the issue with the Clinton Foundation. Her resent health issues during the commemoration of the 9/11 this year, also spark concern among the electorates. This give her the opportunity to be well informed on critical matters like war, economy, education, immigration and others. Most of her achievement are use in advertisement to remind the electorates of her achievements over the years. She projects herself as being a better choice to her opposition Donald Trump.
