In response to the question, Henry Morris thoroughly looked over the new discovery of his ten year old son, Jacob Morris. After Henry’s close examination, he set down the object on the wooden table and answered.
“It is a buffalo’s jaw bone.” Jacob Morris lived in a quaint log cabin with his pa, Henry, and his ma, Katherine, in eastern Montana. Though not yet admitted into the Union, Montana saw many settlers, who made the treacherous journey across the rugged plains of the United States, in order to build a new and happy life for themselves. “I can’t.” It pained Jacob to say it.
“Why?”
“Because pa said I couldn’t”
“Aww that’s too bad.” Earnest began to walk away.
“Where are you going?” snapped Jacob
“To the bone cliff.”

The two boys excitedly hurried off to the “bone cliff” as Earnest called it.
When they finally found the cliff, they felt like brilliant scientists who just discovered something important. The two of them were thrilled to find that the bone cliff was just as fantastically entertaining as it was yesterday. They gleefully played in the dirt while uncovering buffalo bones. All this time, Jacob wondered to himself why in the world pa had forbid him to go to the cliff.
