The first presentation I watch of Benny Agosto. He is an attorney personal injury trial at law, and very well republished who talked about topic persuasion-the power to persuade toward audiences. The presentation was very well organized and interesting. For instance, some of the keys that he discussed was the definition of argue which is “to make a case for a judgment or opinion” and we seem to argue a lot in our daily life that we don’t even know it. However, persuading is “to bring about a desired response in a reader or listener”, that is when you try to make someone believes what you want them to believe. I found this two definitions very interesting. Moreover, Agosto also provided examples, power point slides to help the students understand easier.
During Mr. Agosto presentation, he focuses on the main point about communication skills such as choice of language, eye contact, dress professional, gesture, facial expression, voice tone, sense of humor. Mr. Agosto set his own examples to portray the audiences how to communicate efficiently. He makes good eye contact with his audiences, he looks around the audiences. Bailey business presentation attempts to persuade his students to believe that starting a business is not just as simple as it sounds. I personally like Agosto’s presentation. It was brief, concise, and legible. They both have a good eye contact, dress professional. But, Agosto had a good choice of using word. His word choice is simple and easy to understand and fit with the subjects that he was talking about. Bailey has better eye contact to his audiences, and also speaks good English but does not have any visual images or PowerPoint which makes his presentation bit
