Soon after the events that have been going on in the kingdom have been revealed, Hamlet receives a visit from a ghost that is assumed to be his father. The ghost describes the murder of the King of Denmark and tells Hamlet that he is incapable of resting in peace because of it. He also wonders if he will be able to live in peace if he kills Claudius and the ghost turns out to be a liar. To test the honesty of the ghost, Hamlet sets up a play in which he changes the scenes to demonstrate the murder of his father the ghost spoke of. Confirmation of trustworthiness from the ghost is set when Claudius acts in a strange manner towards the reenactment of the murder of the king. Hamlet is now determined to kill King Claudius for the death of his father.
Over time Hamlet causes six deaths, one in which is Polonius who was spying on Hamlet and his mother. Claudius is notified of Polonius’ death and exiles Hamlet out of England. Claudius then sends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two of Hamlet’s closest school mates, to spy on Hamlet in Germany and send him to England for execution.
