The advertiser’s want children to associate the Furby’s with having fun with their friends, especially since one of the selling points is the Furby’s are capable of interacting with one another. When I first looked at the image my attention was drawn directly to the Furby’s. So I noticed not only were there a number of them in the photo but they were all different. The Furby’s ranged from a variety of colors from purple to green. I feel like the people who were responsible for the development of this photo for the advertisement were attempting to appeal to the interest of both little boys and little girls by showing a variety of colors that the Furby’s could be purchased in. I also noticed that the Furby’s are located almost in the center of the image so that they are pretty much eye level. Also that the background images are much darker. Such as the clothing the children are wearing and even the party lights in the advertisement. This allows for the Furby’s to be the brightest images in the photo so that the consumer’s attention is attracted the Furby’s rather than everything else in the image. There a few things I may have done differently or at least attempted to incorporate into the image. For example, when reading the information provided on the Furby’s the website states that the Furby’s are capable of interacting with each other. I don’t understand why the creators of this advertisement would not demonstrate this in the picture. I also read that you are able to download an app for the Furby’s. The app is supposed to allow the owner of the Furby to be able to learn the language “furbish” that the Furby’s tend to speak. Lastly I noticed that
