By Friar Lawrence marrying Romeo and Juliet he thinks that the families will bond together and become closer. It really just leads to more problems. Also by Friar Lawrence marrying them it causes Juliet to keep refusing to marry Paris which causes her dad to get very frustrated and angry. He calls her names and gets carried away which really hurt Juliet. This causes her to feel unwanted and feels forced to marry Paris when she’s already married to Romeo. Also, when she marries Romeo they have to see each other. However Romeo got banished for the killing of Tybalt, so he has to sneak around to see her. Then he sneaks to her house on honeymoon night to see her, this causes Romeo to always be at risk. By Friar Lawrence marrying Romeo and Juliet Friar crosses a huge line which puts both of them at danger at all times because they are from two different families who hate each other.
Other characters was to blame but ultimately Friar Lawrence had the biggest portion of the blame. Friar Lawrence did many things that led to the these lovers deaths. He married Romeo and Juliet without permission, his plans always sounded and looked good, but they never finalized and never ended well. Also he never told Friar John that the letter was extremely significant to Romeo. At the end of the story Friar Lawrence had the greatest degree of blame out of all the characters for these two lost lovers
