The 2016 Ford Focus RS seats five, but is ideal for two. All models are powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. The RS represents the top trim in the Focus line; seven other trims are available, including an electric vehicle.
Manufactured in Germany, the 2016 Focus RS represents the first-year of its US availability. It is the latest representation in a long line of small performance models developed by Ford Europe.

This engine features an aluminum block and head with an integrated exhaust manifold, and combines turbocharging with direct injection to deliver 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the wheels by means of a six-speed manual transmission.
The RS features the first application of Ford’s all-new all-wheel drive system with dynamic torque vectoring. Under certain conditions, up to 70 percent of the torque is sent to the rear axle, specifically to either rear wheel. This feature supplies outstanding handling under the most rigorous drive conditions.
Four drive modes are available, designed to optimize performance on or off the track. The default mode is normal, followed by sport, track, and drift. Each mode results in a harder suspension and more aggressive feel than the preceding
