My first reason to disagree is because men and women died for this flag.They died protecting all of us from greater threats, which in return lets the football players checks keep coming in. The things that these football players give in return are just pitiful to the men and women who have served our country. There may be some valid points to kneeling. Some players say they’re kneeling because of the senseless killings of innocent black men. This is a very valid point however why don’t the player go into the cities and protest this violence. The 13 stripes represent the first 13 colonies and the 50 stars represent the 50 states. The white signifies innocence and purity. The blue signifies justice, vigilance, and preseverance. The red signifies valor and hardiness. America has many religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Buddhism. See, there is no set religion, America is ripe of different languages, cultures, entertainment, and jobs. The American dream is that you can come over here and not have to worry about war,religious conflict etc. .
In conclusion NFL players should stand instead of taking a knee during the national anthem. They would disrespect a flag that men and women lived and died for.
