Abstract
This essay is focused on First Amendment, freedom of speech in context with information technology. Freedom of speech like mobile phone, television, social media or international newspaper. Using technology of cell phone, making video of other people without their consent and consider it as freedom of speech. This essay covers wide range of such described aspects. Abusing other people on social media and considering it as freedom of speech. Similarly, international newspapers hurt sentiments of different religions and consider it as freedom of speech; because freedom of speech is mainly protected by First Amendment in United States constitution. …show more content…
Freedom of speech in technology is thought to be unethical work. As, people in US countries have freedom of speech in their constitution but people living in other countries might not have such freedom of speech. It may get hurt when people from US talk about any religious point. Everyone should have equal rights. So, they should act upon their constitution within their country and they should not apply it on internet where people from other countries of the world interact. They might get upset. Technological advancement has constantly producing new types of media, from broadcasting to television to computer networks. The electronic word has replaced the printed word as the most common form of communication in our …show more content…
Many of the people use social media and they post whatever comes in their minds. They sometimes abuse anyone, which violates rules and regulations of social media. It is unethical. Some people make fun of others on social sites, which opposes code of ethics. Everyone is using freedom of speech in daily routine life and on internet as well. Who posts anything about their point of view it hurts others sentiments which is violation of rule. Those who posts everything on internet, becomes criminals. To some extent, it is in favor of law that when any criminal post something on social network then it is easy to catch him with red handed. i.e., a man caught up for a crime and in court he had given such statements that judge ordered to postpone his case for more inquiry. When that man left court then he posted on Facebook, “I might not be caught up”. The next day judge ordered to give him punishment and declared him criminal by looking his post. Material on social media has raised social and moral issues. Individual data about other individuals, and maps and other data might be helpful to terrorists.
