Through the introduction, the social workers became interested in the intervention because through the treatment process clients did not frequently evaluate their therapy sessions or what aspects the clients identify as effective during each session. The clients explain what aspects of the session has been helpful in reaching their goals and factors that they want to accomplish. The FIT Intervention will be utilized within City of Pasadena Public Health Department by assessing the effectiveness of the therapy sessions provided to the clients and identifying new goals that clients would need to work on. The implementation of feedback-informed treatment system serves as a continual assessment procedure to inform therapists and clients about the progress towards goals (Yates, Holmes, Smith, & Nielson, 2015, p. 22). This intervention has a significant impact on the effectiveness of counseling.
