The cost of housing is reasonable, considering I will be living in Manhattan. Two housing options are available, the Traditional Style Rooms and the Apartment Accommodations. The Traditional Style Rooms include a shared room on a traditional style floor with community bathrooms and no kitchen. The Apartment Accommodations includes a private bathroom and kitchen, but does not include meals. A meal plan would have to purchased separately. I came to the realization that I was most interested in Fashion Marketing and Management. It is a broad major and encompasses a variety of job opportunities. FIT does not offer Fashion Marketing and Management, but it does offer the Business of Fashion. This major is similar as it is business related, but it leans to the more narrow side on job options and studies. While it does not have my specific major, it is worth it to go to FIT because it is located in the Fashion Capital of America. This convenient location would give me many opportunities in the Fashion Industry. For instance, NYFW would be in my backyard, not that I would have one. Furthermore, I would be able to land internships during the school year. If I went to a fashion school in Georgia, for example, I would have to wait to intern during the
