Rhetorical Analysis Bradbury uses sentence structures, including, complicated sentences and asyndeton to show how Montag changes throughout the book. “The same infinite detail and awareness could be projected through the radios and televisors, but are not” (Bradbury 82). This quote shows that society could be getting the same information found in books in the media, but it is not happening. Instead, the media likes to show things that make us addicted, so no one will stop watching. Furthermore, when checking the news while Montag was on the run, Faber said, “I always wanted something small….nothing that could shut me down” (Bradbury 132). This quote shows Faber is able to recognize that people are being controlled by what the media says. The government wants it to be this way so people are not able to form their own independent thoughts that could disagree with the way they think it should
