Explain Why Students Should Not Be Aloud To Have Phones Out In School

Students should not be aloud to have their phone out in class or at school. If they have their phone out it could cause them to not listen, and it will just make a big distraction. It is ok if kids are just listening to music and are able to listen to the directions the teachers gives, but most can’t do that because they are distracted. They should put their phone away and listen when the teacher is talking, or just leave it at home so they can concentrate, and when they do have there phone out they can text there parents to come and get them because “they don’t feel good”. When the teacher is talking and a student has their phone out they should put it away so they know what to do. If they have an assignment that is due at the end of the hour, and they couldn’t get it done and would not know how to do it because they were on their phone while the teacher was talking. Their phone could be a distraction in class because if the teacher doesn’t notice and tell them to put it away then he/she won’t learn anything. That way it will not be a distraction. They have a better chance of learning something, and they can’t look up the answers and cheat. If the student has their phone at school then they could get it taken away because most likely some of their teachers do not allow phones in class.
