This is defined as the degree of confidence, trust, and respect subordinates have in their leader, or the level of support the leader feels from his or her team. When evaluating the case study, the information provided states that the moral of the firm is quite good; profits are up and, by large, the workers are satisfied. Though this should not majorly affect my ability to lead the committee, it does provide me with some sort of framework when coordinating the awareness weekend. Since the moral of the firm is quite good, I will make sure to tailor my coordinations toward accepted practices within the firm. With that said, the key attribute when determining the level of Leader-Member Relations is the ability to choose my own committee members. It can be assumed that I would pick members that I have confidence, trust, and respect for. It's known that an awareness weekend is to be organized because the company has recently had an influx of different minority groups, but there's no information provided regarding the specific topics or tasks that the company wants the awareness weekend to address. Obviously, the general idea is to address different minority groups, but what is regarded as the appropriate way to do this? As a result, I will assume that the committee will distinguish which topics and tasks are important to address during the awareness weekend.
