Ethnography Assignment
I conducted my ethnography at the Child Development Center in Queens College, Monday Sept. 18 from 330 to 4 pm. I notice they separate the kids in to two groups, there were approximate six kids and 3 adult per group. When I got there it was snack time, all kids brought a lunch bag with a snack, some of them had sandwich, or even home made meal but other had a Hamburger with fried from Macdonald. Most of them was from 2 to 6 years old.
Child #1, was having a sandwich for snack, approximate 3 years old, is being pick up by the father, the father is wearing work cloths. The first thing the child ask the dad was " where mami" the dad reply " in class" it seem as the mom drop the
