He used his Biblical principles as a foundation for building his business in a time where it was socially awkward or unacceptable, looks like it worked. Chick-fil-A purpose according to Cathy “ To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.” This is done by the engagement from employee to guest on a daily basis- treat others with honor, dignity, and respect or when a staff member runs out in the rain to escort a mother and children under an umbrella. It is all about the people for him, his employees and the guest. His foundations are far reaching, especially for the youth. He has Leadership Scholarships for Berry College students ($4K), has a foster home program that has helped some 450 children grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally. For his greatest investment, the employees; he has given more than 32 million in scholarships funds. Talk about a leader than puts service over
