The American Revolution was the “American war of Independence.” The French Revolution happened because the French government was in deep debt and try to restore all the lost financial through unfair taxation schemes. Much like the American revolution, it was also influenced by Enlightenment ideals. As for the Haitian Revolution, it is known as one of the largest, as well as successful slave rebellion throughout the Western hemisphere. There are multiple cause for the American Revolution, but to some it up, Britain made new taxes for war debts (french & indian war). Colonist were boycotted. The king had raised the taxes due to the fact he had been “borrowing” money from the people to continue living a lavish lifestyle, and causing them into a financial crisis. Famine was another cause because prices on food started skyrocketing. The leader of the military was Napoleon Bonaparte.
