We got this idea of Citizenship from the Romans who called there people citizens like us. Every Citizen in Rome had to follow the Roman laws, had rights, and had to show respect to there emperor. The Romans have impacted our lives today by showing us there idea of what a citizen of a country should be. We inherited this idea from the Romans and without there idea of Citizenship today our rights could be completely different.
